Sex, Lies and Debauchery!
‘Adults Only! Sex, Lies and Debauchery' is a mixture of Brechtian techniques, contemporary skits, and naughty heritage scenes (including the infamous ‘China' scene) from William Wicherly's 1675 play ‘The Country Wife'.
This production is not for the conservative as the wicked lewd puns spice up the stage in an array of witty repartee, cutting dialogue, slap stick comedy, double entendre's and explicit sexual innuendo by the under dressed and over sexed players.
MC strings together the comedy, songs, dance and theatre and draws the audience into something which really is quite different, but still holding the apron strings of Restoration Comedy while being encased in the manner of 1930's Cabaret.
Interlinked between the restoration scenes are cute songs, cheeky dances and whirlwind skits. Puck has his pants and wallet stolen after taking a ‘Get Laid Quick' pill distributed by a shonky traveling salesman. Martha Stewart is channeled for the talk show ‘Make Him Into You!' (pre jail bird Martha that is). There are infomercials for vibrating phones, a guide to clubbing (caveman style), sports shows about Womanizers and crazy sex fiend stalkers. Then at last a news channel that is hijacked by Mandy who drills holes in her husband's sports car because he had an affair with the baby sitter. It's fun for the whole family! Well... maybe not family.- Performance length: 60 Minutes
- Can be tailord to fit most time requirements

Material Description
Adults Only! Sex, Lies and debauchery is a Cabaret with a difference. There is a loose story line interrupted by relevant skits, songs and dances. It is a mixture of new and old with an emcee introducing all the acts. The scenes used are done in old English but spoken with a modern twist so it is both understandable and not lost on the audience. We use a mixture of pop songs and torch songs, and a little bit of burlesque and a tad of contemporary dance. It's a smorgasbord of entertainment.
